Here it is…

Malevilynce is proud and excited to announce our newest endeavor, minus a few key ingredients that have not been signed sealed and delivered yet, but rumor mills are turning, and the word is getting around somehow!! So without further adue…

Malevilynce in coordination with a top music act in the buisness is releasing a military tribute shirt to the fallen and injured soldiers. This design, once finalized will be an all over ink discharge design on top quality apparel and will carry the noticeable advantage of the band incorporated in not only the theme, but the design as well. Also, Malevilynce will be offering 2 very unique, distinctive qualities to this shirt…first off we will be donating 25% of the proceeds of this shirt to the injured soldiers fund to help disabled, injured soldiers returning home from the Middle East. Also, we will be customizing these shirts to fit any needs, specifically for families that have lost relatives, or that are currently serving. Enlisted soldiers can order these custom designs to showcase their support of fallen commreades, but also to show support for their current unit, battalion, platoon etc…

This customization process is unique, and designed to help families show respect, support or honor for their loved ones that have given so much to sacrifice for this cause and war. We are able to design any custom back print for this shirt, and a page is being designed as we tell this to accomodate any who wish to customize a shirt for a relative or friend, or serving soldier!

Malevilynce has also set up channels for national press release through our press company, Joe Dolan public relations, and in association with Zona Design, the “band”, and numerous friends currently in the military serving, especially our good friend Ronald Bazillion, who has helped construct this idea…we will be releasing this shirt in the next few weeks for national…yes national distribution!

Thanks to all involved int his project, its taken some time, and alot of secrecy…but we felt the need to release a rough sketch of the design, to give an idea of what it will look like(this is minus a few major components) to let the fans know and get some feedback, and start to take pre orders. We will have details up in the next few days as to how to customize this shirt for your loved ones! Again, thank you all, and we hope you all not only support this new cause, but help us reach our goal of helping many, many in need!

Whats goin on…

Malevilynce is currently working on a few new projects. One main project being that we are creating a new website, hence the reason our blog hasnt been really up to date, and for that we apologize. As the transition continues, we try to keep up on new events, but also the fact that MMA in New England is in a quiet mode as well in Mass. The next few weeks though will add  a bit of impact though, as new shows make debuts this weekend and next, with Premiere FC, as well as Cage Titans. Triumph Fighter makes its 3rd show a big one, with a major fight between Rick Hawn and Shonie Carter as well.

Things are moving forward in the music avenue for us as well. Doinfg work with The Autumn Offering has brought us to a great place, and the ever mentioned “secret project” is still in the works and the pieces are being put together daily. This project is just going to take some time, due to the people involved and what we are trying to accomplish with it. All we can say, its going to be huge, help alot of people, and we believe it will work on not only a new national level, but this could be a worldwide impact. Good things come to those who wait, and Karma shows its true design when you attempt to create something as genuine as we are! We know the public is going to support this idea on a massive level, and truly appreciate our intentions!

So…thats where we have been, thats what we are doing…and soon it will all come together. Thanks always for the support you all show for us here at Malevilynce! We will continue to create new designs and a company you all can appreciate and love!

Zichelle on his way

After another impressive bounce back victory from Ruthless Mike Zichelle, alot of new avenues are about to open up for the 23 year old fighter, who has improved himself to 5-1 professionally. At this juncture, Mike is about to enter another level of steeper competition and tougher fights, but also bigger venues. Malevilynce is hand in hand with Zichelle as he takes the next steps forward and great things are in store for his immediate future. Included in these plans will be a newly released ‘Ruthless” edition Malevilynce shirt, soon to be released for all the Zichelle fans littered throught Massachusetts and soon to be the greater New England area. MMA fans in other states such as NJ, NH, and beyond….get ready for a ruthless dose of vehemence coming your way!!!

Malevilynce enters the metal industry

In a recently, highly anticipated maneuver, Malevilynce will be making its first steps into the music industry. Following such pioneers as Affliction, and Archaic, Malevilynce now throws its hat into the mix as the newest official sponsor and endorser of Victory Records recording artists, The Autumn Offering. The Autumn Offering are set to release their 5th studio album, self titled this time, in August of 2010. Distribution will be world-wide, a US tour is planned and videos that can be seen on MTV are in the works. Look for them this Fall to come to a city near you, and check them out brandishing the newest Malevilynce designs.

Vocalist Matt McChesney has described the newest release as “brutal” and as ‘hostile” as the band has been to date. While keeping true to their origins on this new album, TAO has added a newer acoustic side to themselves as well, falling into the realm of an Alice in Chains type sound. All in all, with McChesney’s extended vocal abilities and the shearing guitar threads of Matt Johnson and Tommy Church, this albums anticipated release should be the catapult to get TAO into the next level.

Bringing together the 2 worlds of MMA and metal has been done through the years as a solidified partnership that generates great fan interaction and excitement. Malevilynce is honored to be part of the Autumn Offering team, and hopes for the best with this amazingly talented group of guys!! See you on tour somewhere in 2010…..

Latest updates

It all started a week ago, Jason McLean…fighting in his home state of New Jersey delivers an impressive win in what was a considerable battle. Jason got the Unanimous Decision after 3 hard fought rounds and Malevilynce was not only there with Jason for his victory, but will be onboard for many more as he climbs the ladder on his way up to WEC!!

This past weekend, Moosin productions came to the DCU Center in Worcester MA, in what was a very much needed high class show with great fights, and awesome production. The setting, which featured Marius Pudzianowski versus Tim Silvia, was a scene right out of Rocky, when he fought Ivan Drago. The crowd was primarily and prominently Polish, and their presence was felt from the get go.We seemed to be transported straight into Warsaw.

The card was very well put together, and our represented fighters, Matt Lee out of the Factory, and Mike Campbell, out of Sityodtong, were both victorious. Mikes fight with world class fighter Yves Edwards ended up getting fight of the night, in what appeared to be Campbells toughest test to date. Matt Lee was a convincing winner with a second round KO over Brett Otteri out of the Lauzon camp.

In other news, our newest prospect and team member “to be announced”, Chris Helm was victorious out in Iowa. Chris fights at 125 lbs, and he took a fight on 2 days notice to compete against a fighter 15 lbs heavier than himself. He won via ground and pound….50 seconds into the first round. Now, for any info on Chris, we will be featuring and introducing him by the end of July, and his potential is unlimited. His record of 29-2 as an amatuer fighter is impressive, and he should be making his way out to the New England area very soon. Keep an eye out for him, or you can actually view a small video of him attached below…

All in all it was a great week and a half for Malevilynce, as our camp grows stronger, fighters get better, and new designs for shirts are being thought up on a weekly basis to bring you more cutting edge shirts for your enjoyment and style needs!Looming in the future, we have more guys competing in upcoming shows, and there may be a few new announcements coming in regards to new alliances formed and buisness expansions taking place. We will try to keep it all up to date and all the fans in updated! Thanks again for the continued support as we try to grow and become the standard in our industry!!!

State of MMA

Well, we have had our seconfd show in Massachussetts in as many months! This is wonderful. Now taking into consideration the fact that we went from a show a week at this time last year, venues such as CFX, AFO,WCF, were all in full swing and advertising prominently upcoming events and fights regularly. We had NECF planning Wartown Beatdowns, fighters were generally excited and enthusiastic about opportunities to showcase their talents on a regular basis. Excitement was in the air with the anticipation of the arrival of Summer, outside shows, big venues, top fights, ring girls strutting their stuff.

All that seems to be a distant memory at this pont. We sat and waited for the arrival of XCFL2, got a taste of potentially top notch competition with a set of good fights rounding out the evening of what could have potentially been a disaster. Then….nothing! Big talk on MMA blog pages, big talk from fighters calling eachother out, but yet no venue in which to showcase these challenges. Recently,AFO puts their hat into the ring and delivers another night of quality competition and good crowd support.

Now what? We await the arrival of Bellator to come save Mass MMA and sanctify the roar of the crowd. XCFL has slated another show at Marlborough in the middle of the month, and rumors persist of a CFX show that has been moved and postponed previous times already. This is the state of the MMA world in our area right now. A show a month? Maybe two? Fighters looking for opportunities outside of Mass, no fighters really willing to come into Mass to fight due to new rules and qualifications. Promotions left scrambling, financially and legally to put on a show, vendors and apparel companies left with nowhere to showcase their goods, and above all, the fans, left without a resource for solid entertainment on a regular basis, except for the occasional rerun of Faber vs Brown on Versus.

A unified community, fighters, promoters, managers, trainers, vendors and fans, standing up for the right to express and dignify our sport is what is needed here. A voice to call out and expreess the interests and given rights we so seek to invoke as our sport faulters and teeters on the brink of a possible downward spiral. I hope all who potentially read this find favor in my words and find also the opportunities and abilities to voice their opinions in our community. I know there are alot of influencial voices that can and should be heard, as well as alot of great minds with ways to improve our current status. Heres to all of you out there fighting for our rights, and to all of us seeking an improvement in OUR world!

Ricardo Funch goes to Sityodtong

Team member Ricardo Funch has taken a new approach to his training and has added Sityodtong to his training regime as well. Kru Mark DellaGrotte has welcomed Ricardo into his facility and is hoping to add more dimension and stand up skills to Ricardos game. For his first introduction to the intensity of Sityodtong, Rics first sparring sessions were with Patrick Cote and DellaGrotte himself. Look for Ric to continue his BJJ training under the tutalige of Master Marco Alvan, and now have the Muay Tai of Kru Mark. Ric will be competing in June at UFC 115 in Canada!
